RDA Connects Economic Development Partners in Lunenburg Queens
The Lunenburg Queens Regional Development Agency held a full-day session on February 3rd with over 30 representatives from 23 organizations that contribute to community economic development across Lunenburg and Queens Counties.
Partnering for Regional Prosperity, held February 3rd in Bridgewater, was an unprecedented event designed to identify areas for closer collaboration, establish new partnerships and reveal gaps. The session adopted the speed-dating model; allowing for a highly focused exchange of information during a series of 10-minute presentations.

. “Despite storm conditions, people made the effort to come together to talk about what their organization is doing and how we can work together more closely. I think this speaks volumes in terms of the commitment people have to the prosperity of Lunenburg Queens.”
Glenn Durnford, local representative of the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC), added that “Sharing ideas and information between manufacturers is the core of what EMC is all about – the chance to do this with many related agencies in the region will certainly help everyone.”
