Partnership leads to results for Immigration

A very good working relationship has been established with the community-based Immigrant Settlement & Integration Services (ISIS) which is looking to further expand its services outside of the Halifax area. We initiated a process wherein an ISIS service provider will travel to the South Shore for an initial face-to-face meeting with a client and then conduct subsequent consultations via Skype. As a result of one such meeting, a client’s employable skills were identified and the navigator was able to make a local business connection. A successful ISIS Wage Subsidy application enabled the client to begin full time employment April 18th at Quick Cobbler and Tailoring in Bridgewater.
