Collaborating on Business Retention & Expansion in Lunenburg-Queens

Several economic development partners throughout the region have built trusting relationships with businesses in Lunenburg Queens. In March the LQRDA, with Lorraine Boyd and Martin Walker (Provincial Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) coordinators), organized a session with our regional economic development partners. Discussions centred on how we could use the structure of the BRE Program to coordinate our collective effort more effectively. Not only would this allow us each partner to leverage existing and on-going business relationships; but it would allow business clients throughout the region to more quickly connect with the resources and support they need to grow their operations. The LQRDA will continue to coordinate business retention and expansion efforts regionally in collaboration with our regional economic partners.
