Agency announces website to answer 'WhyHere' question

A few clicks of a computer keyboard bring up the latest facts, profiles, history - even climate information - about Lunenburg and Queens counties as part of a digital gateway to entice people to live, work and visit this area.
It’s the concept behind a recently unveiled regional marketing program, said the executive director of the Lunenburg Queens Regional Development Agency. It’s in the form of a website titled WhyHere.ca.
“Why would I come here to do business? Why would I come here to live? Why would I come here to visit? These things are interconnected,” Andrew Button said during a Bridgewater event announcing the program.
The agency hosted two other similar invitation-only events in Chester and Liverpool to publicize the new business strategy. Mr. Button said his agency partnered with the community stakeholders on the project over the previous six months.
